Gmail metadata scanning — how it works
Subsie uses Gmail's metadata-only scope — the strictest privacy level available. We see sender names and subject lines from billing services only. Google enforces this technically — we cannot read email body content even if we tried. We check each sender against a whitelist of 200+ billing domains. Nothing is stored except the extracted subscription data.
