Subsie is a subscription tracking application that helps you identify, monitor, and manage your recurring digital subscriptions. The service provides:
Subsie is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and functionality may change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
Subsie is a tracking and advisory tool only. We do not manage, cancel, or modify your subscriptions on your behalf. All actions taken on your subscriptions are made by you directly with the relevant service provider.
Eligibility. You must be at least 16 years old to use Subsie. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Registration. You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date.
Security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account. You must notify us immediately at support@subsie.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
One account per person. Each individual may maintain one personal Subsie account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited.
Account responsibility. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Moolah Tech is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account that arises through no fault of ours.
Connecting your Gmail account is optional. If you choose to connect it, the following terms govern how we access your data.
We request only the gmail.metadata scope — the most privacy-preserving Gmail permission available. Under this scope, Google's API technically prevents us from accessing email body content. This is a technical restriction, not merely a policy commitment.
Token storage. Your OAuth access token is stored securely in our database to maintain the Gmail connection between sessions. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting your account in Subsie, or directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Billing whitelist. We only process emails from a curated list of approximately 200 known billing service domains (Stripe, PayPal, Apple, Google, Netflix, and similar). Emails from any sender not on this whitelist are ignored entirely at the query level.
Data minimisation. We extract only: service name, billed amount, and renewal date. The original email subject line is discarded after extraction. We do not build profiles, infer personal characteristics, or use Gmail data for any purpose other than identifying your subscriptions.
Google API disclosure. Subsie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You agree to use Subsie only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Our property. Subsie, including its design, code, content, branding, recommendations engine, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Moolah Tech and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your data. You retain full ownership of the subscription data you add to Subsie. We do not claim any ownership over your personal financial data.
Licence to use. Moolah Tech grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use Subsie for its intended purpose. This licence does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicence any part of the service.
Feedback. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Subsie, you grant Moolah Tech a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
Subsie is currently offered free of charge during the beta period. When paid plans are introduced, the following terms will apply.
Pricing. Paid plan pricing will be displayed clearly at the point of purchase, inclusive of applicable VAT. Moolah Tech reserves the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Billing. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All payments are processed securely by Stripe — Moolah Tech does not store payment card details.
Cancellation. You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.
EU consumer right of withdrawal. If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase of a new subscription, provided you have not begun using the paid features. If you have used the service during the withdrawal period, you acknowledge the service has been partially performed and agree that a proportional fee may be retained.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to retry. If payment cannot be collected within 7 days, your account may be downgraded to the free plan. Your data will not be deleted due to a payment failure.
VAT. Prices shown exclude VAT where applicable. VAT is calculated at checkout based on your location in accordance with EU digital services VAT rules.
Accuracy. Subsie relies on email metadata to detect subscriptions. Detection is not guaranteed to be complete or accurate. Subscription amounts, renewal dates, and service names extracted from email subject lines may contain errors. Always verify important details directly with your service provider.
Beta service. Subsie is provided "as is" during the beta period. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that the service will be error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
Third-party services. Subsie links to third-party subscription management pages to help you manage your services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third-party websites.
Gmail API dependency. Subsie's email scanning feature depends on Google's Gmail API. If Google modifies, restricts, or discontinues API access, email scanning functionality may be affected. This is outside Moolah Tech's control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Moolah Tech's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Subsie is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Moolah Tech in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €50.
Moolah Tech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of revenue, loss of data, failure to detect a subscription renewal, or costs incurred from cancelling or not cancelling a subscription.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for: death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; any liability that cannot be excluded by Netherlands law or EU consumer protection law.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have statutory rights that are not affected by these limitations. These Terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
By you. You may delete your account at any time from within Subsie. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all your data will be removed from our systems within 24 hours. If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled and access will end at the current billing period end date.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you: materially breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse the service in a way that harms other users, or if we are required to do so by law. Where possible, we will give advance notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before termination.
Effect of termination. On termination, your licence to use Subsie ends immediately. Sections 5, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
Data export. You may request an export of your subscription data at any time before account deletion. After deletion, data cannot be recovered.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Subsie will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence grant you additional rights.
EU Online Dispute Resolution. If you are an EU consumer and have a complaint that we have not resolved to your satisfaction, you may submit a complaint to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Informal resolution first. Before initiating any formal dispute, we ask that you contact us at support@subsie.app and allow us 14 days to resolve the issue. Most problems can be resolved quickly without formal proceedings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
